Navid Yousefian is a social scientist and policy researcher working at the intersections of environmental governance, community wellbeing, and equitable development. Born and raised in Iran, Navid’s academic path runs from Sharif University in Tehran to master’s degrees at Boston College and Central European University, and a PhD in Political Science at the University of California, Santa Barbara. His research and practice focus on how power, policy, and participation shape everyday access to land, water, energy, housing, health, and information.
